    • Bugfix - print preview is now fixed so that page 2 does not over write page 1
    • Bugfix- should now detect invalid font installation ( but does not yet fix the installation )

This is a long standing bug that hopefully is now fixed.

New - Custom checklists now for medications and diagnoses, and needs beta 69 server
Bugfix- font installation now downloads to a local fonts directory to allow user to install using control panel

Checklists are less formal ways to remind you of things you might want to do.

Triggers can be multiple drug names, or ICD codes

Just noticed an issue where if you re-edit a consult you just saved .. it doesn't display the changes!

Anyone else see this and in which version?

Bugfix- using a different way to check for postscripts fonts being installed
Bugfix - now prevents the user from entering a blank dob in the add new patient screen

The new recent way of checking for fonts with reg query was locking up on some clients so the client would lock up at the verification screen

New - the XPLR button can be used to copy all selected results (scanned documents) in Patients/Results/Text Result to the patient's paperport folder

Probably not very intuitive .... but there's no space for another button.
This allows you to copy all the patient's scans to a folder so that you can zip them up or whatever.

Graham, Just a little more on how this works. Sounds pretty cool for document management. Does the new button open both www and pport in XPLR view so the files from www can be dragged and dropped or what?

Jerry, you select all the files in the results table ( must be scans ), and then click on the XPLR button. This creates the folder in the paperport directory if it does not already exist, and then downloads all the selected files directly to that directory.

If the file already exists in the www directory, it bypasses the need to download them.

If you watch the progress meter, you'll see if run thru all the files.

What it can't do yet is download from S3 if the file is not on the server ...

New - Prior Visits button that will display the visits text as one continuous scrolling area

Button appears on the Ancillary Screen

This is a really useful feature. I can look at the "Modern" view of the all the consults so I see only the visit tags, and quickly scroll through the entire record using the tags as a "table of contents".

Bugfix - should make fewer calls to server to fetch the encounter text now. Need to test this.
New - Appts tab has a new button "Appointments Mode" and "Payment Mode" which allows you to edit location/comments without reloading the patient
New - Cheyenne fax has a new button to load last pdf in the cgi-bin directory ( signed PDF from Jarnal )

    Notes:
Synapse doesn't have a billing system incorporated ( yet ), and sometimes I collect payments from patients myself. Using the "Payment Mode" button I can enter a payment in the location or comment field without forcing a switch to the patient.

Some pharmacies require a "wet signature" for controlled substances ie. they will not accept your EPS signature.
So, with your script displayed in the fax applet, click on "PDF Editor". Your script will now open as a PDF inside Jarnal.
    Ink your signature.
Then use the print with options and print to PDF.
This saves the PDF in the www/cgi-bin directory with the original PDF name and a timestamp.
Now bring up the fax applet, and click on the << button and this finds this last PDF in that directory as well as displays it in the browser.
You can now fax it off.
