Graham, many of the physicians I know who were on the fence finally went to Practicefusion at the last minute, obviously because it's free. For physicians who qualify for meaningful use and don't want to risk investing in any expensive EMR they don't have experience with, this decision appears to be a no-brainer. If you have a lot of users in the US who qualify for meaningful use, this might become a loss for you. Since I tried Filecenter, I'm thinking of switching to Filecenter for document management and Practicefusion for the rest of EMR function, and will probably stop using Synapse for now, otherwise I'll drive my staff crazy keeping four systems at the same time: Filecenter, Synapse, Practicefusoin and Practice Manager (for billing).
