Initial issues

    The "s" stands for static. I.e. the content of that edit-list will always be displayed. The edit-list alone only will include it's text if there is a preceding modifier ( usually a radio-group ) that has been selected ... so, if you have a radio-group which is data [ "N" "Y" ], and then an edit-list that follows, then the edit list will only insert it's text if you choose "Y" in the radio-group.

    Could you summarize what your template issue was and how you solved it ?

    Can you post your solved template ?

    I just want to understand what the troubles were for my own knowledge ?

    Was the solution to daisy chain the macros ?

    I'm actually still working on the above "problem". So far I have just
    split up the longer templates and made them wider. This enables me to
    drag the box over, view the entire content and to hit the save button.



    Post # 6265, which i was going to edit and inadvertently deleted, was a different question about delineating the width of a list.

    Did now... pm's don't work in Community Server .. I never get a notification that I have a PM.

    Regarding OneNote, Synapse can drive OneNote just as easily as Journal.

    If you use the demo client, it will ask you if you wish to use localhost ie. a server installed on the same PC as you are using.

    If you also have synapse-local set to true in the environment settings, it will ask you again if you reply No to the above.

    Downloaded the install versions, twice seperately.

    Both times have been unsuccessful in installing.

    Have the firebird and odbc installed.

    When I go to run the server I get a RED window - "This version is outdated please go to the web and get the new version."

    Where can I get the new version - help needed with the install.

    a bit frustrating, cannot get access again to my older notes since client is again too old. Not able to access download page.

    I have tried to work out a good plan with Graham about this issue.

    This has been more of a problem as the last beta has lasted a VERY long time.

    Graham's previous response was "But people have 3 months to update to a newer version".

    Yet, it seems I still run into the problem on my secretary's PCs, etc.

    I was able to download the latest beta from the Wiki. I think my Login to the wiki didnt work the first time .. but it did the second time. Hmmm.

    I think you can also do it from the Synapse News section of the Dashboard (see below).

    Why do you think that is ?

    Anyway, the latest demo client 84 is available athttp://synapse-emr.s3.amazonaws.com/synapse.exe

    and it expires in mid-April. So, I don't understand why vtpaindoc says it has expired.

    The demo client allows access to the demo server, and to localhost servers.

    I continually get "not available in demo version" when i try to change to my local server.

    THE CLIENT tells me that it doesn't support logging into local host.
