FF3 is quite a bit better at this now. To test, just type in a windows folder into the FF address bar. ie. c:\windows\ or c:\EMR\
This sorta reduces the need for the [Xplr] function, except for the fact that you can't create "new documents" in a patient's folder from within the browser. Many users might not be doing that anyway. Some good old FireFox hacking could add any feature anyway ! Possibly using FireFox for browsing but add an [Explore here in Windows Explorer] button to FF would be helpful. Should be quite easy to do. As well, I just check it, copying a FF url of a folder, ie. file:///p:/a ... brings up the right folder in Windows explorer, ie. P:\a.
