Ok, now I just need to hear back about anyway the permissions are inconsistent, or can be bypassed.

No feedback on the new permissions system, and so we move on to other things
R212B5

    1. some reports removed with the LaTeX code from the "Docs" button have been restored
    2. A [tickle] button is now available in the Inbox
    3. A mock up of the Chronic Disease Management system; see
Settings/View. In a consult, click on the diagnosis of diabetes ( left
click ) and this should trigger. The other two are blank at present. This should trigger for Read Codes, ICD9 and ICD10.
ps: if you want this to popup with a background image, just copy a jpg into the same directory as synapse, and call it rose.jpg

    Re: Security

I used an MD account to update reception permission and got not enough previledge message; however, the changes made were saved anyway. When I switched to admin account, I got this message: "Failed to validate screen. Check the field where the cursor is sitting and make sure that a value is here, and of the correct type." Also, I tried to make one receptionist inactive but got the same message and could not save the change.

I still want them to have access to the results tab, since my EMG report and other radiology reports are often requested by other doctors, as well as a lot of administrative paperwork.

BTW, Graham, you mentioned you were gonna let us change the results type and date under "Results" tab, I haven't seen it. Did I miss it?

    Re: Security

Hmm. I need to check this, but you should use an admin account.

because you missed putting in the password field for the person

Isn't there a permission to allow them to look at results now?

Yes you missed it. It's a button called "Change Patient" in the inbox.

    Thanks Graham, I missed those.

Found what I need. I was talking about under "Results" tab, I just have to right click on a test to make changes, thanks [:)][Y]

    Re: Security

I updated permissions to enable "view consults" and "view results", but they still can access these tabs, not sure where I did wrong.

    Re: Security

Do you mean you enabled but they "can't" or "can" ?

    Re: Security

OK, tested again. If view consults is enabled, they can open up the consult tab and see the consults.

But if view results is enabled, they can't open up the Results tab .. will fix in the next beta.

    Re: Security

R212B10[IMG]
Previous
versions would silently crash Synapse if more than 4000 characters were
saved in a consult. This version uses compression to increase that to
about 8000 characters, and also warns you as well as saving the consult
locally to the www/ directory. Needs latest R82B3 server

Server R82B5

Support for unlimited text in a consult - tested up to 330,000 characters, which is about 120 pages. You shouldn't be writing reports longer than this!

Client R212B12
Fixes the problem with saving large amounts of text. Now tested successfully up to 330 kbs of text. Needs latest R82B4 server.
