The only text showing are the HMGs which now forces you to look at them. If ticklers are due, then the text of the tickler "tab" turns red.Resizing is not done yet. I can switch back to the older version easily enough if this is not liked. I'd also like to move the "replace text" menu ( the green bar ) into the accordion as well.

I've started work on an accordion for the left hand side now .. and it's taking a long time to do!

    "into an accordion"

what was the impetus here ?

oh ... "New - the consult editor functions on the right are now contained inside an accordion to reduce visual clutter".

    Good idea.

Client crashes when upload to Inbox

Using server R84B16, client R216B49, when uploading a file to Inbox, I get REBOL/View window listing like this:

    file: %/I/My%20Documents/BONNY%20M%20-%20Copy.doc

    Than the client crashes.

Another issue: After the client is opened under one user account in Windows, when another user logs in Windows using another user account, view results button will open the new internet explorer windowunder the previous account so the current user won't be able to see it. I need to go back to the previous account, close the cheyenne server and come back to the current account and restart the client. Can quit client also quit the cheyenne server to avoid this?

Re: Client crashes when upload to Inbox

I'm not clear on the scenario, but I'd avoid uploading from directories with spaces in their names.

    Got a screen grab?

Umm.. never tried that. There is no way for Synapse to close the Cheyenne server down .. it's a web server with no back doors to shut it down by a client.

I also wouldn't use IE as the default browser as each new result results in a new browser window whereas with Firefox, it opens up in a new tab.

    What OS is this under?

It also happens when there is no space in the names

    XP

And, upgrade button in EHR server control panel downloaded version 0.0.83 beta-62. If I manually download R84B16, client complains it's too old, so should I always download from amazon for the latest version?

Re: Client crashes when upload to Inbox

Is the above error a new one?

    83 62 is latest ...aka R84B62

It's actually server version 83, aiming for a 84 release ... confusing huh!

Re: Client crashes when upload to Inbox

Ok, the bug happens with >Inbox but not with >File

Let me see what's going on....

Re: Client crashes when upload to Inbox

To be clear, the latest server will say in the client title window Version: 0.0.83 beta-62

    And this is a.k.a. R84B62

    Maybe I should call it RC84B62 ?

This is the one I am using.

Re: Client crashes when upload to Inbox

Actually it's not crashing .. it's just printing some debugging information to the screen.

The file still gets uploaded to the inbox ... in my tests.

I'll release a new version without the debugging stuff in a few minutes.

woks fine now. I thought the client crashed since closing the debug window also shut down the client.

oh no .. closing any console window down like that will kill Synapse.
