    Beta-1 is now available
    1. Send a refill request from the prescription tab
    2. Attach existing patient files to an encounter ( can't save yet as needs server side support ).

    beta-2

Appointments for the current patient can now be shown as a popup.

If you want to print them off .. you need to use the appointments interface.

I find this feature WAY too much fun. It works great. I see the flexibility allows the secretary to type in a "message" as well.

    I did this prescription:

3 repeats,--- wouldn't it be better to have it as Repeats: 3 ? Not sure.

I see.. this is for internal linking. I did notice that it didn't refresh when I clicked on other consults.

That was just to show the working GUI ... so that's why it doesn't refresh. Needs server side support.

Very handy. Good for patient management. Looking forward to using this one.

I'm a bit worried that the whole user interface is getting too cluttered and complex ...

Popups aren't cluttered ! They are nimble and work at the speed of the doctors thoughts. They are always ignorable - just don't use em, if you dont like em.

Or are you talking about stuff like tags/ attachments /etc.

Much on the "Pre"-consult screen doesnt need to be there. Sure the info is valuable and should be retrievable when needed, but the user doesnt need to see much of it.

The red boxes dont need to be there really.

a lil tidier. The idea here is that the "Details" wouldn't be seen unless you click on the details Tab. Otherwise you'd see just the relevant medical information.

And the "Attachment" data could go on the details tab.

Of course functionality is key to start with, so if the beauty contest has to wait, so be it !

Many of the Button / Tabs we use are thus far literal words, not cute pictures. This doesn't look as pretty, but has the advantage of being more easily usable with minimal knowledge/training.

I did suggest a while back that the top row of Tabs needs to be tightened up. Almost every one of them should be a subtab are *NOT* worthy of top row tab status.

In this picture, all the red outlines should be a SUB tab of a tab called Settings.

And some of the other Buttons could have pretty little icons, as I have a few suggestions.

The problem with pretty icons is that even after writing the software myself, I no longer remember what the icons in Synapse Chat mean!

Some tab reorganisation might yet come ..

    Beta-3

    Addresses the reported GUI issues

Also, there is now a firefox icon on the ICD9 popup screen ... so that you can use that screen to search for an ICD9 code with Web Services.

This should be the clue !

You need to upgrade to the new server as well where this service exists.

The new server provides the facility to record the attachments ...

I see. The synapse-server.exe was old at compkarori.

I downloaded the new one from synapsedirect.

Ahh.... too many places to keep updating.

Best to just use the synapsedirect.com download as that should always be the correct one.

well I like the static URLs at compkarori.

You keep me hanging on ... you release the betas at compkarori ! And then the final comes and you take it away !

Maybe version checking for the synapse-server.exe ?
