    Graham:

My ScanSnap scans directly into my Server/Medicare directory. One button select .We only have to select the patient's directory. The file is an ocr'd (sic) pdf file. What I need now is to be able to batch import all these files into Synapse. Do you think that it is feasible to do so? Can you rig up a batch import, like you did for importing a patient database?

My patient's directories are flat directories. The files are pdf and some jpg files (patient's face and pictures of "shingles", deformed hands, ulcers etc). They are named xx Type mmddyy. The Types are: Labs, X-rays, EKG's, Consults, etc.

DrO, I think this could be done .. but would take a couple of days of my work.

I am assuming that you have a number of directories with each directory containing a single patient's files ... and the name of the file indicating what type of file it is.
