    Here's a 60 yo male with "age-appropriate" cerebral atrophy.
    Seems young.
Is there "age-appropriate" cerebral atrophy in a 50 yo male ?
Is there "age-appropriate" cerebral atrophy in a 40 yo male ?

Should the presence of "age-appropriate" cerebral atrophy change my management ?
If it is age appropriate ? Wouldn't that be Normal ?

Age appropriate means the changes are consistent with others in your population.
I'd prefer to report it as saying showing changes consistent with vascular disease from long standing hyperlipidemia, and other promoters of vascular disease.
