R218B5 20 June 2010 New - Improved resilience to temporary network disconnections If the Synapse client loses the network connection, it will try to reconnect 5x before it gives an error message. R218B8 10 July 2010 New - local and wan fax server addresses instead of a single fax server address New - changed the layout a little for HL7 import to make things clearer when editing a file
The point of having two fax addresses is that normally you can not access the internet or WAN fax address if you're on the same network as the fax server. So, you had to change to use the LAN address. Now if you configure both correctly, Synapse client on startup will try and determine which is the correct address to use. It will check the WAN address first, and if that fails will drop back to the LAN address. If you switch to the Fax tab, an arrow will show you which one has been selected.
