I am using client 204 and it seems to at some point not update with the current patients DOB instead it keeps a previous patients DOB in memory.

When i go to the setting-pport-suffix field instead of the expected "-dd-mmm-yyy" characters configuration i had set... it has been replaced with specific date of the first or second patient's DOB and subsequently tries to create folders with new names and the incorrect old birthdate.

    Any suggestions?

I see it. It only happens if you use the Xplr button.

    I'll fix it shortly.

ie. if you use PPort and the dd-mmm-yyyy suffix, the problem does not occur.

Interesting that wasn't noticed before. I don't use any suffix with paperport. In my 2000 patients, I have probably 9 duplicate names. I add the patient's year of birth to their first name.

    Smith, John1965

    Smith, John1923

    etc.

Not the fanciest solution but I like it :)

I guess i was unclear in regards to PPort buttons use.

I thought you needed to have the Paperport software to use that button and if you didnt you should use the xplr button to access the basic "explorer" folder manager.

I will try the new beta 9 soon. Thanks
