Windows Vista + February Microsoft Update KB3013455 = 'Courier New' font corruption

Latest windows update for this Vista box impacted Synapse and many other programs.
As seen below


Essentially the fonts (specifically Courier New) were much less readable.

Solution: remove the update.

Code:

Remove/Add Program >> View Installed Windows Updates >> I added the column to display installation date, reverse sorted and found "3013455" ((this update), then Uninstalled it.

How to Remove the update:





Say [Yes] and uninstall the update.
A reboot is required.

Hmm. I haven't had a chance to reinstall Synapse on my Surface Pro. Should do that now.
