Punctuation rules

Proposed rules for processing text from templates:

• commas can not follow another comma
• commas can not follow a period ( so this means you can't do this .... 101 deg,, )
• periods can not follow periods ( so this means no .... )
• periods can not follow a comma
• a space follows a comma or period

Any others?

Beta 20 now implements these rules for text generated from templates.

It will also try and fix up punctuation as you save the text.

Paindoc, are you getting a better result now with the new punctuation parser?

a big improvement has resulted from this first effort.

Now to clean up commas after colons.

Now commas and periods are removed if they follow a : - and ; in Beta 21

And this has now apparently solved the punctuation issues.
