New York No-Fault Motor Vehicle Accident insurance requires the NF-3 form.

They will accept CMS-1500, but the first claim must be NF-3.
Manually filling out these forms is too time-consuming and labor intensive.
Some softwares allow NF-3 via a plug-in module, while others are useless in NY.

Using software to fill out medical forms has been a big passion of mine for years. Apparently you're intent on having your EMR do the accounting and insert the billing numbers into the NF-3 form as well. Synapse just won't do this. There are some PDF and other methods that could likely take your Medisoft billing numbers and insert them into a form. Perhaps a method could be worked out to import data from Synapse into Medisoft. Synapse already generates a CSV file for import into Zybex/PMS, maybe that could work with Medisoft..not sure on that one.. If so, the NF-3 form could then be generated from Medisoft data. This would require someone with database knowledge to assess. Maybe Graham would be willing to investigate it, and do the programming for a fee. It sounds like that would be less expensive than other EMR solutions you have investigated.

There is also the possibility of importing data from Medisoft into an OmniForm Pro form via ODBC. I am familiar with this technique, but not with how to import/export data to/from Medisoft. Do you know how to get data in and out of Medisoft?
