    needs some flexibility and tweaking.

I also think, there might be some benefit from separating out

    M:

    and

    R:

    will look into this.

You want a GUI way to input the numbers instead of typing them into the blank field provided ??

    I want both.

lots to think about for this popup.
    speed, flexibility, intuitiveness
    such a key component,
here is an attempt, dont like it already.

I do really like a few things in it.

as well .. when you click on "20" it should show up in the M: section (as it would if you typed it in manually).

a big issue issue is I love the "Two click" renewals ...

click on drug, click 3 months and 3 repeats ... done. (two clicks).

    its so pleasureable ![:)]

i dont want to ruin that but there should be more flexibility when needed.

I think different coloured buttons to signify one is a "this closes the popup" type

and this is a "click .. but you'll need to hit OK" eventually.

probably the most common ones should go at the top.

the current iteration only allows repeats for 3 months ... which will detract from speed.

EVEN THOUGH, I love the ability to edit the Prescription after the popup has closed, you really don't want to have to do that.

I myself, add little notes to the pharmacist as well on the right like a **NEW** for a new medication or a **Limited Use Code: 245** for drugs needing a specific code.

The idea in the gui is to make sure that 90% of the scripts can use the defaults .. and then it's only two clicks.

Very rarely do I have to change it on the right pane which makes my scripts very fast to generate.

I love the flexible middle section but that it still uses "days/weeks/months" supply format :)

this is the above top half and bottom half together.

remember yellow would equal automatic closing of popup (for quickness).

I've made some changes ... I guess users can learn how to use it.

Here are some ideas to ponder.

Need: Repeat Generator to complement the Mitte generator.

If for some reason I don't like how one RX template works for my current RX. I'd like the ability to change to a different RX template.

Unleash the power of RX templates !

Workflow issue: I have no access to Mitte and Repeat information from the popup.

For that to work, we have to disable the ability for people to type into the prescription ie. make Rx only by forms.

Only thus can we be sure of what is being prescribed .. and so can then be tracked.

Let me rephrase that ... I can record the amounts written only if the applets are used.

If someone writes directly into the prescription area, I'm not going to track it.

So, as soon as you click on an arrow/button to transfer the medication to the prescription area, it is going to be recorded.

Need to know quantity and the filling pharmacy, especially in light of controlled substances.

well if you faxed it .. it would be on your copy of the fax.

Otherwise, if you print it out and hand it to the patient, you have no idea of which pharmacy it goes to.
