    Ok, I now see it.

    Let me ponder ...

I suppose blanking the *viral* and the possible selections where there is no more to replace is a good place to start.

That works. Don't like the [Reset] button though. Can't you just blank the selections when the macro finder finds no more ? [Reset] should also blank the word to be replaced box (ie. *some* ).

There are some weird highlighting problems when the macro text to be replaced is not on the consult window *WITHOUT* a scrollbar.

To test this ... keep using your same macro. and when it finally goes over the page ... you'll see.

    Things like:

The highlighted word doesn't show .. but if you move the scrollbar up and down it appears ... etc.

That's part of the reason I didn't want to support large text replacement like this.

The funny things that happen with the scroll bar have been around for a while ... are they hard to deal with ?

    Yes, but I'll ask again.

For Some reason, I see no way to "toggle" through my Macro text replacement options. I have no "replace" option once I accept the Macro into the consult editor. I have tried all the function buttons with no joy. I've read the tutorials and have come across the phase "insert into template " . I assume this does not refer to A GUI Template, Ya?

    what am I missing?

Ahh ... I see the problem. You're using the new betas which do things a little differently.

When you "accept" the template the replacement menu popped up automatically before. Now it doesn't unless it is called from the context menu.

    See this video http://www.screencast.com/t/Hyje4Kl2ci

This video shows how to assign a template to a diagnosis so that it appears in the context menu

With the current beta, you can just click on the thin green vertical bar to show the replacement menu ... or use beta 31 which restores this earlier functionality.

Synapse is a constantly evolving target .. so it's hard to keep the documentation up to date.
