    When importing HL7 results, if the doctor in the HL7 data can not be matched to any currrent staff .. it will be assigned to staff id of 0, which is the lost and found stuff.

    So, really only of use if using HL7 data import.

    So this is when the lab sends you results and you've never heard of the patient ?

    No, those are not imported.

    It's for when you can't identify which doc the results are intended for.
