[ [/quote] Well, I can't see how this error occurs. It says that "none" is being passed as the ethnicity, but the client is supposed to prevent blank enthnicity from being transmitted. Anyway I have uploaded a new server B3 that traps this, and converts the "none" to a blank string. Try that to see if it fixes the problem for you.
with new server Error 2 ... same problem. Please Note: if changing from one response to another .. it's OK, but from blank to something the error occurs.
Think I figured it out. Most (at least quite a few) of my patients have the title and ethnicity blank. Attempt #1) change to patient, tried to change ethnicity ... ERROR. Attempt #2) change to patient, add title, add occupation ... SAVE. try to change ethnicity ... No Error.
error and solution repeated. So ... what happens is ... when I attempt to choose an ethnicity if the Title and occupation are blank ... i get the immediate error. If I have those filled out and pick the ethnicity .. no error. ?
The interesting problem here is ... ethnicity and title and sex are now set by default. Note: adding a gender by default is bound to cause wrong gender errors. "Dr. M, you told Specialist so and so I was a MAN !" This error is not repeatable by adding a new patient, because the ethnicity and title and sex are now set by default.
Well I don't see such errors as I always titles, ethnicity and occupation. Try server beta-4 now to see if this fixes it.
My suggestion is not adding default values to the fields but to add default values to the popup and then giving them the option to change the defaults when adding a patient. This allows people to do things quickly when needing to add a patient quickly, but at least shows them what they are adding. I could see that in a rush, people add the required values but don't realize many of the things they entered were wrong (Title, Gender, address, city, state) for that patient. JMO.

Uploaded Beta-4 again .. don't know where it went B4! As for a quick add window .. the idea of that window is to search for duplicate entries. I'll think on it.
Must be a limit to the number of files I can upload to one page. I've deleted a few older files and uploaded it again ( 3rd time ). I do see it available now.
