    I noticed on the EMR Client that it ran an update today and now has a Check Drug Interactions button in the Consult. However, when I run this I get the following message:

    [error [command-failed]
    fail [fetchDrugMapping ["BAYER EXTRA STRENGTH ASPIRIN FOR MIGRAIN" "PLAVIX"] {make object! [
    code: 800
    type: 'user
    id: 'message
    arg1: "service not found"
    arg2: none
    arg3: none
    near: [make error! "service not found"]
    where: none
    ]}]
    ]

    Do I need to reinstall the server as well to fix this?

    same error for me. Graham must be playing with it.

    :)

    Worked for me Yesterday.

    [error [command-failed]
    fail [fetchDrugMapping ["chlorthalidone" "clarithromycin" "lipitor"] {make object! [
    code: 800
    type: 'user
    id: 'message
    arg1: "service not found"
    arg2: none
    arg3: none
    near: [make error! "service not found"]
    where: none
    ]}]
    ]

    the error "Service not found" means that the particular function being called by the client does not exist.

    This means that the server you are using is out of date, and you need to update the server.

    The current client build of 189 requires server build 0.0.63 ( and the window title should tell you if there is a mismatch ie. the client is accessing an old server ).

    I updated the server so that you can map your drug names to the ones used by DrugDigest

    Also, failing this, you can try the new build 190 beta-1

    http://www.compkarori.com/emr/synapse.exe

    which has a bug fix

    PS: don't reinstall the server. Just stop the server, download the latest version, and copy over your old server.

    I upgraded to the new version and the error went away.

    I knew I was using the old version

    The drug interactions work PERFECTLY! I can even do DRUG-HERB interactions ! Patients often ask me questions about can I take this with Glucosamine (insert other random product here) ... and I say "SURE!??". <u>Now I can check</u> :)
