Graham you do realize you won't have access to this great Diagnoses / Management Tab from within the Consult Editor .

Well .. that's not exactly true. the Consult Window easily minimizes.

But you have to be careful.

    beta-5

If you use a 4 digit number for the age in adding a diagnosis/procedure, the age is calculated for you.

Don't do this for kids aged 1 or less!

    Just uploaded beta-5 again:

Added some more descriptive labels for the buttons in the macro window ...

There will be a beta-8 and a new server to test today .. to allow you to save the data currently in the mock up screen.

And there will be a priority field to allow you to rank importance .. but not sure how I am going to get it in the display yet.

    Nice.

Nicer. Could the Diagnoses popup use the priorities as well ?

What do you mean by that?

I was assuming you'd be able to sort via priorities, so if that was possible on the Diagnoses Tab, I'd want the same sorting available on the Diagnoses Popup.

    [F5] for me.

In the first pass, the sorting will be fixed ... but it will be available in all displays.

    Client beta-8, Server 171 beta-4

    Now available
    • You can now save the details on a diagnosis ( use the "Save" button at bottom of screen)
    • The existing diagnoses are all given a importance value of 3. 1 is higher, and 5 is lowest
    • Changing the Import value will reorder the diagnoses
    • Can't save details on procedures at present.

Once this has been tested, I'll look to see if I can add it to the popups as well.

    beta-9

Allows you to add details on procedures as well.

It feels weird to input the procedure details though - because you are documenting it without seeing the list.

Sometimes design decisions come back to bite us .. not much I can do about this except disable the ability to make notes on procedures.

*LOVE* the sorting by importance. Very sweet.

    I am thinking that

    [1] major illness

    [2] significant illness / morbidity

    [3] illness

[4] / [5] = minor illnesses (if too many diagnoses, these are the ones you want to be cutoff) :)
