Build 191 features a completely new screen for building the superbill. The diagnoses are taken from templated assessments, or from the existing diagnosis list. CPT codes are generated by template.

The following applies if you are exporting the superbill data.

You must first configure the export and import directories. Only one client should do this, and that client will handle the export for all the clients on the network. The admin user sets this up in the Settings/Interface tab. For example for the PMS import directory, use c:\synapse\import\ and for the PMS export directory use c:\synapse\export\ where the PMS import directory will hold the created superbills ( and rejected patients ), and the PMS export directory will hold the PMS patient data. You can configure a poll frequency (in seconds) which tells the client how often to poll these directories and the Synapse server for data.

To create the superbill for export, bring up the superbill within a consult. Then:
    1. You first select the level visit, and then the diagnoses, and create the first line of the billing table.
    2. Then for each CPT code, you add appropriate diagnoses by clicking first on the CPT code, and then on each relevant diagnosis.
    3. You then can export the superbill. If your patients were added by exporting the data from the PMS, you will have a PMS id code automatically created, but if not, you will have to use Synapse's internal patient id instead
    4. The designated client will then pull this saved superbill data from the Synapse server, mark it as posted, and save it to the PMS import directory

The other new feature is that when you upload a scan, a message now comes up to confirm that this was successful or not. Sometimes if the internet connection dropped temporarily, the scan did not always make it.

How about a popup if it didn't make it ONLY. My secretary was complaining today about having to close the "Scan Made it" window. With 99+% of scans making it .... why have a popup for scans that make it ?

    That's a possibility ...

But I think a condition that stops the file from being uploaded may also prevent any communication to check for the file.

Let me change it and you can try it out.
