Just different routines for calculating age ..some used just year - year subtraction, and others used difference in hours from date1 and date2. Now all should use hours.
The age is still not calculating exactly. Here is an example. patient is 88.8 and when I switch to her chart it shows 88.8 but then it changes to 88 1/3 of a second later. why the change ?
I remember now. The age shown first is the patient's age now. But when Synapse recalls the latest consultation, it then shows the age at the time of that encounter. You can see this as you click on each encounter the age changes. So, what you see is the age at the last encounter.
Is there any significant benefit of this functionality ? Especially in light of the confusion caused by having an age displayed that is incorrect ?
Can we squash this bug/feature. I want the patient's displayed and reported age to be the age they are on the day that I am seeing them. The correct age is originally displayed but it gets updated to the wrong age after that.
