Adding a tickler

    Currently, to add a Tickler or reminder, you need to navigate to the Patients/Diagnoses screen. This will be changed in the future to allow you to also add a tickler with a function key from anywhere within the patient record.

    With the Ticklers table showing at the top right of the screen:

    • either enter a date ( format is dd-mmm-yyyy ) in the first field ( or leave the date field blank ).
    • next select a priority from 1 to 5.
    • then select a state such as "Pending" or "Ordered".
    • and in the last field on the right, enter the tickler description
    • then click on "Add Tickler" button
    If you have the date blank, a calendar pops up to allow you to select the date for the tickler. When you have done that, the tickler will be added and then the tickler table refreshes.

    To update an existing tickler, select it from the table, and then use the "Update" button.
