- adjusts to how much walking it detects on your fitbit. - knows your sugar was high at lunch, and you didn't walk, and suggests a low carb meal for dinner. - analyzes pictures of your food to estimate calories, carbs, etc. - learns ! after making suggestions and seeing the effects .... - assess stress level based on heart rate ? your calendar events. - also gets your A1c data, and lipid data. Might make adjustments based on that. - uses Alexa to order your next meal and Uber delivers it. - could be helpful based on newer ideas about "resting the pancreas" with aggressive intervention for remission (acarbose, metformin, insulin).
Agreed. I guess the brains behind a system like this would be "Artificial Intelligence" One neat thing about a type 1 would be the system could adjust the rate of insulin based on various things such as : blood glucose levels, typical response to meals, planned exercise, exercise itself (increased heart rate). I would suspect some people would like a "System" like this, others might like "being controlled".
